Press Release: Dr. Grossman Honored by the Florida Chiropractic Association
Each year the Florida Chiropractic Association (FCA) chooses one of its 4,000 members to honor at the national convention. in 2012, Dr. Grossman was selected by a unanimous vote of the FCA board of directors. According to the board:
“We wanted to recognize Dr. Grossman for his years of dedication to advancing public awareness of chiropractic care and his tireless fundraising efforts for our organization.”
“I am very pleased to be chosen as this year’s honoree, said Dr. Grossman, “and I hope to be able to continue to inform people about the benefits of chiropractic care for many years to come.”
Dr. Grossman follows in a long line of chiropractors, including his father, Bernard, and brother Joel. At one time, with cousins and uncles, there were over a dozen members of his family that were chiropractic physicians.
He is a graduate cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic- West in Sunnyvale, California in 1984. He has been the director of Kirkman Chiropractic since 1986.
Dr. Grossman is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association; the Florida Chiropractic Association; and the Central Florida Chiropractic Society, for which he has served in a variety of positions, including President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
For many years Dr. Grossman has acted as a chiropractic advocate and stays current on legal and political issues facing the profession. Most recently he helped spearhead fundraising efforts for the FCA to assure that chiropractic is fairly represented to the Florida Legislature.
According to the FCA, their national convention is one of the largest chiropractic gatherings of the year, attracting more than 3,000 attendees from across the country.
